Apex Spinning & Knitting Mills Limited (ASKML) is a vertically integrated company that manufactures high quality knit garments. The company specializes in infant, children, and womenswear using fabrics produced in-house. ASKML is equipped to produce a wide range of solid dyed, yarn dyed, and all-over printed fabrics using a variety of designs provided by the customer. We can also generate innovative design ideas from our in-house design department. The in-house fabrics can be circular or warp knit in various compositions ranging from 100% cotton to nylon microfiber and gauges ranging from 24GG to 46GG. ASKML is equipped with in-house facilities for embroidery and placement print to offer our customers a variety of product complexity and design. The fifty-two sewing lines are set up to efficiently produce 2.8 to 3.0 million garment pieces per month. We are able to produce complex, fully customizable value-added items for our clients as required by our clients.

Mr. Zafar Ahmed is a Post Graduate from Dhaka University in Economics. He is one of the Sponsor Directors of the Company and is working in this sector since 1990. He is the Chairman of the Company. Mr. Zafar Ahmed, who has achieved a solid record of profitable business growth in the industry and is the architect behind its success. He has established an international network of industrial contacts and maintains an in-depth knowledge of developments in the industrial enterprises. He is also the Chairman of Apex Foods Limited, Apex Lingerie Limited, Apex Yarn Dyeing Limited, Apex Textile Printing Mills Limited, Apex Fashion Wear Limited and Matex Bangladesh Limited.
Mr. Shahriar Ahmed obtained his MBA from USA and after completion of his education, joined this Company in 2004. Mr. Shahriar is a Director of the Company. He is working in this sector since 2004. During his long tenure with the Company, Mr. Shahriar has gathered vast knowledge about this sector. Since his joining in this sector, he has gathered sufficient knowledge to run the Company. He is also the Managing Director of Apex Foods Limited and the Director of Apex Lingerie Limited, Apex Yarn Dyeing Limited, Apex Textile Printing Mills Limited, Apex Fashion Wear Limited and Matex Bangladesh Limited.
Mr. Kazi Faruq Kader is a Graduate from Dhaka University. He was a Member of Parliament from 1988 to 1989 and Member of the Standing Committee for Commerce during that tenure. He was also the Member of Parliament from 2009 to 2013. He was also appointed as Director and Chairman of Sonali Bank as well as Sadharan Bima Corporation. Mr. Kader is the Independent Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Company. He has sound knowledge in this sector. He is also the Independent Director of Apex Foods Limited.
Mr. Md. Rafique Ullah joined in the Board of Apex Spinning & Knitting Mills Limited on January 30, 2020 as Director nominated by Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB). He is a post Graduate of Dhaka University. He has also achieved a Banking Diploma from IBB. After completing his education, he joined as Officer in ICB. He held various important position during his long career with ICB, including his current position as Deputy General Manager. He has taken training from various institutes, especially from BIBM on Basel-ii implementation and from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Management (ICSM) of Bangladesh on Board management. He has sound knowledge in this sector. He is also holding the Directorship of S. Alam Cold Rolled Steels Ltd. and BD. Thai Alluminium Ltd.
